So, what do we have here?

Well, a lot that makes the new Zero phone stand out from all other smartphones ever made by Infinix to date, and has even moved the Zero lineup further up the food chain, way more than Infinix has ever attained before.

So, to begin with, we’re looking at a top-of-the-line 6.67 inches AMOLED display, with the resolution maxing out at 1080p+ which is pretty the norm for most smartphones nowadays even in the luxury smartphone segment and has its screen refresh rate ticking the clock at 120Hz, and for the first time, we’re getting an Always-on display feature on an Infinix smartphone, well, thanks to the new AMOLED display.

The cameras are undoubtedly the main selling point of the Zero X, and on here, we’ve got a 64MP main sensor as opposed to the 108MP sensor on the more expensive Pro version, but even at that, all other supporting sensors remains the same like the 8MP periscope telephoto sensor that can do up to 5x optical zoom, and even go further up to 60x to capture the moon as Infinix claims, but this time, it does it digitally, and then lastly is the 120° field of view 8MP ultrawide sensor.

The main and periscope camera sensors on this phone are both fitted with OIS capabilities, and the max video recording resolution this phone can attain is 4k @ 30fps.

In terms of build quality, you get glass on both the front and back of this phone, and it gives off this iPhone 12 type of vibe because of its flat and polished edges.

You get Android version 11 running out of the box with a makeover of Infinix’s custom OS on it, the XOS 7.6 Dolphin UI, and there’s been a rumor that Infinix will be updating this phone to Android 12 when it’s available, but since we’re talking of Infinix here, I wouldn’t put all my hopes on it just yet.

For performance, you get a Mediatek Helio G95 chipset running inside of it, this processor has been paired with 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is set at 4500mAh, with the charging speed maxing out at 45W.
