Okay, so just so you know, Xiaomi, the parent company behind Redmi and Poco phones alike, have already launched a gaming-tailored smartphone under the Redmi brand, and that phone was called the Xiaomi Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, now, as reported, they’ll also be doing the same for the Poco line of smartphones, and as you already guessed, this phone will be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming both in and out, and it will be called the Xiaomi Poco F3 GT.
Got the gist? I bet you did.
As of the time of writing this article, we can only confirm that the Xiaomi Poco F3 GT will be launching in India on July 23, which is exactly in the next 5 days from now, we’re pretty confident that the phone should be launching in other regions where the Poco brand is well recognized, but, we don’t have a date for now.
And as for specs, well, since this is going to be a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, then we should be expecting a 6.67 Inches 1080p+ 120Hz HDR10+ 10 bit OLED display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on it, physical pop-up gaming buttons on the sides of the phone when held in landscape mode, a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset will be at the helm of affairs here, aided with 6 to 8GB of RAM, and 128 to 256GB of internal storage capacity.
There should be stereo speakers on board too, which actually will be tuned by the legendary sound equipment manufacturer, JBL, and keeping the lights on should be a 5000mAh battery tank while getting refilled whenever needed by a 67W fast charging tunnel.
