MTN Pulse

Pulse was unarguably one of the most popular MTN tariff plans when it was first introduced. And this is because it came with a truckload of bonuses that made it hard to ignore especially among teenagers, such as a flat call rate of 11k/sec which was the cheapest as of then on the MTN network, and even at a slightly increased price of 12k/sec, it’s still the cheapest call rate you can get on the MTN network.

Aside from the cheap call rates, MTN Pulse subscribers also get a ton of data bonuses such as the midnight data plans which give you up to 2GB of data for just ₦200 to be used from 11pm to 6am.

Simply take, MTN TruTalk is the MTN Pulse tariff plan with a flat call rate of 12k/sec, but without all the additional bonuses that Pulse comes with.

So, it basically gives you the cheapest call rate you can find right now on the MTN network, and that’s all.

MTN mPulse

The MTN mPulse is a tariff plan that is tailored for students between the ages of 9 – 15 as it brings a truckload of voice and data bonuses, such as up to 1.2GB of data for ₦150 to be used on the special MTN mPulse website.

And below are the complete benefits you stand to enjoy as an MTN mPulse subscriber.

• Flat call rate of 15.36k/secs to all networks in Nigeria.
• Special mPulse data bundles 1.2GB for ₦150 & 350MB for ₦50 to be used on the mPulse website only.
• WhatsApp data bonus on every first recharge of the month.
• Data bonus on every airtime recharge.
• ₦200 airtime reward on your birthday.
• FREE 30MB on your first access to the mPulse website.

MTN AWUF4U

AWUF4U is a special MTN tariff plan that gives you up to 500% airtime bonus for recharges of ₦100 and above and up to 350% airtime bonus for recharges below ₦100, and this can only be gotten when you recharge using the AWUF4U special USSD code, which is *888*recharge PIN#.

And you can also get an additional 200% data bonus if you recharge via MOMO recharge.

So, for instance, if you recharge ₦100, you will get ₦600 in your account balance, which is a ₦500 airtime bonus and the original ₦100 you recharged.

But mind you calls will be charged at a higher rate of 68.80k/sec from your AWUF4U account balance. And below is the complete list of benefits you stand to enjoy on the AWUF4U MTN tariff plan.

• 500% airtime bonus for airtime recharges of ₦100 and above.
• 350% airtime bonus for airtime recharges below ₦100.
• Call rate of 68.80k/sec to all networks in Nigeria.

MTN BetaTalk

BetaTalk is an MTN tariff plan that gives you up to a 250% airtime bonus and a 250% data bonus for every recharge below ₦1,000, and up to 20MB and above in addition to the 250% airtime bonus for every recharge of ₦1,000 and above.

For instance, if you recharged any amount from ₦1 to ₦999 which is below ₦1000, you will get ₦2.5 to ₦2497.5 worth of airtime bonus, and ₦2.5 to ₦2497.5 worth of data too, and if you recharge from ₦1,000, and above, you will get ₦2,500 and above worth of airtime, and ₦2,500 of data.

But remember that calls are charged at a flat rate of 73k/sec, making it one of the most expensive rates you can find now on the MTN network.

Benefits

• 250% and 250% airtime and data bonuses respectively for all recharges below ₦1,000.
• 250% airtime bonus and ₦2,500 data bonus for all recharges of ₦1,000 and above.

MTN XtraValue

XtraValue is an MTN tariff Plan that rewards you with airtime for National SMS & calls, International calls to some selected destinations, and volumes of data for browsing after subscribing to any XtraValue Bundle plan, and it comes in two variations;

• XtraTalk (this bundle gives you more airtime than data).
• XtraData (this bundle gives you more data than airtime).

For instance, if you subscribed ₦500 on the XtraTalk XtraValue plan, you will get up to ₦2,500 worth of airtime, but just 100MB worth of data, but the same ₦500 on the XtraData XtraValue plan will net you up to 750MB worth of data, but just ₦500 worth of airtime.

MTN XtraSpecial Prepaid

Like the name is pronounced, the XtraSpecial Prepaid is a special MTN tariff plan that lets you make calls at a flat rate of 13.33k/sec to all networks in Nigeria and 9 international countries at the same rate.

It also gives you some special data offers such as a 5GB monthly data bundle at ₦1,500, and so much more which are listed below.

• Flat call rate of 13.33k/secs to all networks in Nigeria.
• Flat call rate of 13.33k/secs to 9 international countries after spending 20k/sec for the first 90-second call of the day.
• 15GB monthly data bundle for ₦3,500 (Special data offer).
• 5GB monthly data bundle for ₦1,500 (Special data offer).

MTN Yafun Yafun

Yafun Yafun is a special MTN tariff plan that rewards new MTN customers with loads of airtime and data bonuses once they register and activate their new MTN SIM cards.

So, on here, you get up to 700% airtime and data bonuses for every recharge of ₦100 and above for the next 6 months, a 100% data bonus on select data purchases on the SIM for 1 month, and even a ₦1,000 registration bonus that is valid for 7 days.

• 100% data bonus for 1 month.
• ₦1,000 (one-time) registration bonus valid for 7 days.

MTN XtraSpecial Postpaid

Similar to the XtraSpecial Prepaid tariff plan, as the name implies, the XtraSpecial Postpaid is a tariff plan that gives you a minimum of ₦5,000 credit limit that can be used to purchase airtime and data and paid later at the end of the month.

Aside from the credit limit, it also comes with a 13.33k/sec flat calling rate and special data offers such as a 17GB data bundle for ₦4,000 and 30GB for ₦6,000.

Benefits

• Flat rate of 13.33k/sec for calls to All Local networks in Nigeria and discounted Int’l calls at 25k/sec (Zone 1) and 50k/sec (Zone 2)
• Monthly minimum credit limit of N5,000 which can be used for calls & data and pay later
