What are MTN Pulse Points?
Simple, MTN Pulse Points are simply points, or in this case, rewards you get for being and performing activities as an MTN Pulse tariff plan subscriber, which can later be exchanged or redeemed for free data.
These activities include making calls with your line, buying data plans, or even sharing airtime and data with the MTN mobile app.
1 Pulse point earned is equivalent to 1 naira, so the number of Pulse points you have can be exchanged for any data plan that is worth that amount.
For instance, if you have 500 Pulse points in your account, then you can exchange these for any data plan that is worth ₦500.
How do you get Pulse points?
Like I said earlier, Pulse points can be gotten from performing any of the various activities as a Pulse tariff plan subscriber.
- Making calls on your MTN line. For every 5 minutes call you make, you get 1 point.

- Transferring airtime and data via the MTN mobile app.
But please note that you must be on the MTN Pulse tariff plan before you’ll be rewarded with Points for any of these activities performed.
How do I redeem my Pulse points?
Like I said before, if enough, Pulse points can be redeemed or exchanged at any time for free data. All you simply have to do is;
When subscribing or purchasing a data bundle on your MTN line, simply select Pulse points as your mode of payment, and the cost will be deducted from your Points balance rather than your main account balance.
