Best Infinix phones of 2019 - Infinix Note 6

No doubts, the Infinix Note 6 is unarguably the very best Infinix smart phone that you can get your hands right now. Armed with an AMOLED display (first on the Note series), a Stylus Pen and a large 4000mAh battery, you can never go wrong with this device.

The device is ideal for those who wants to take their productivity with them, everywhere they go. And don’t also forget that it is the first Infinix phone from the Note series, to flaunt triple rear cameras.

Did i also mention that it ships with Android Pie out of the box? And since Infinix has been known to update their Note series phones at least once in their lifetime, who knows maybe this one too might be getting Android 10 Q update when it finally launches. Just me thinking though.

  • Premium glass body design (Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection)
  • 6.18 Inches Full HD+ LCD Display
  • Flagship grade dual rear selfie cameras (12 + 24MP)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 (14nm) Processor
  • 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage (128GB, Pro model)
  • Android 8.1 Oreo + XOS 4.0 Honeybee
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • 3650mAh Battery with Infinix XCharge, USB Type-C connector.

You see, this phone would have appeared the first on the list, if not for some of it’s non forgivable short comings.

First of all, this is a flagship device, of course we’ve always known the Infinix Zero series to be flagship grade smart phones, year after year.

And it screams all flagship at least in terms of design, but when Infinix began to get it all wrong, was shipping a device in 2019 with Android 8.1 Oreo, instead of Pie.

Secondly, if only it had a slightly better processor, like a Snapdragon 700, and then coupled with a 4000mAh battery, then that’s game. But unfortunately, it didn’t come with any of those, making the Note 6 to beat it in its own game.

But that doesn’t mean the smart phone is bad overall. I mean this thing is a flagship after all, and you should expect flagship grade performance and speed, camera photograph quality, sound, etc.

The Infinix Zero 6 is currently on sale, and the price goes between 100,000 – 110,000 Naira. You can read our Infinix Zero 6 complete review here.

  • Android 9.0 Pie + XOS 5.0 Cheetah
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • 4000mAh battery

Now if you’re looking for something with flagship grade design, triple rear cameras, latest android version, comes with a large battery, but at the same time, comes at a midrange price, then the Hot S4 is definitely the phone for you.

At 45,900 Naira for the base model, and 55,700 Naira for the Pro (6GB RAM) model, this thing offers basically the same thing you’d get on the Zero 6.

Just name it, a 6.2 Inches display, with the resolution being cut down to just HD+ against the Zero 6’s Full HD+, you’ve got the same glass body design, a triple rear camera setup, bigger battery, etc for a much more lesser price.

So the Hot S4 is basically for those who are trying to cut down on budget, but still want to get something befitting for themselves.

I mean this phone basically offers more than what it is sold for. And by the way, you can read our Infinix Hot S4 review right here.

4. Infinix Note 5 Stylus

  • Android 8.1 Oreo, up-gradable to 9.0 Pie (Google’s androidOne software)
  • Bluetooth 4.2
  • 4000mAh battery
  • Stylus (X-Pen)

For those who are a fan of the Note devices, but don’t have up to a 70,000 Naira to shed out for the new Infinix Note 6, then the Note 5 Stylus is definitely the one you should be looking up to.

Because not only does it come at a lesser price than the Note 6, but it also has quite a lot of interesting specs up its sleeves.

Specs such as a 6.0 Inches Full HD+ LCD display, 3 or 4GB of RAM, with 32 or 64GB of storage, the Stylus pen (X-Pen) is also present, don’t forget, a large 4000mAh battery, and for the most of all, it ships with Google’s androidOne software, which simply means that software updates is being taken care of by Google themselves.

  • No X-Pen

Now if you’re not all that crazy about the X-Pen, but you still want the same flagship like specs and performance of an Infinix Note phone, then the regular Note 5 is definitely gonna be a perfect match for you.

I mean, there is no single difference, in terms of specs, between it and the Note 5 Stylus that we just spoke about up there, save for the fact that it doesn’t come with an X-Pen, and the rear camera has been reduced to 12MP.

Every other specs remain the same. Same 6.0 Inches Full HD+ display, same 3/4GB RAM + 32/64GB Storage versions, same Mediatek MT6763 Helio P23 chip-set running on both, and guess what, it even has a bigger battery than the Note 5 Stylus, at 4500mAh.

So you see, you don’t really have much to lose, and the price comes in between 57,500 – 58,600 Naira. Personally I’ll say I’d rather buy an Infinix Hot S4 than buying this, considering the price.

Alright, now head over here to read our complete review of the Infinix Note 5 smart phone. #Cheers

Best Infinix phones for 2019

Remember when we talked about the Hot S4? Now just take the Infinix Hot 8, as a Hot S4 in disguise, with the only thing missing from it, being the premium glass body.

But even at that, you’re getting a lot more advantages than you’re missing on a glass body phone.

Advantages such as a bigger 6.52 Inches HD+ display, against the 6.2 Inches on the S4, a larger 5000mAh battery against the S4’s 4000mAh, and most importantly, a significant cut in price. I mean 32,000 Naira, against 44,000 Naira is not a joking stuffs you know.

So to cap it all, the Hot 8 is simply a phone for those who loved the Hot S4, but couldn’t afford the 44 – 54,000 Naira price tag for it.

7. Infinix Hot 7 Pro

  • 6.2 Inches HD+ LCD Display
  • Dual rear camera setup (13 + 2MP)
  • Dual Front Facing Cameras (13 + 2MP)
  • Mediatek MT6757T Helio P25 (16 nm) Chip-set (32+2GB model)
  • Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12nm) Chip-set (32/64GB + 3/6GB model)
  • Android 9.0 Pie + XOS 5.0 Cheetah
  • Bluetooth 4.2
  • 4000mAh battery

First of all, the Infinix Hot series smartphone lineup are basically for those, who doesn’t really have up to say a 40,000 to 50,000 Naira to spend on a smart phone.

And the Hot 7 Pro is targeted for those who have less than a 50,000 Naira, but still want something they can use to browse the internet, do a lot of social media, you know listen to musics, watch movies, play games as well, without minding the speed and performance of the phone.

I’m not saying the Hot 7 Pro is that slow, No, all I’m saying is, it ships with a 2, 3 or 6GB of RAM, with a 32 or 64GB of storage. Comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box, with XOS 5.0 Cheetah, has two rear cameras instead of three, and has a large 4000mAh battery.

So you see, the Hot 7 Pro is a pretty still solid phone after all. The price ranges from 40,000 – 46,000 Naira, making it a perfect choice for those who couldn’t afford the Hot S4, but still want something that feels like it.

8. Infinix Hot S3X

  • 6.2 Inches HD+ Display
  • Dual rear 13 + 2MP camera | 16MP Front Facing camera
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Chip-set
  • 3/4GB RAM + 32/64GB Storage
  • Android 8.1 Oreo
  • 4000mAh Battery.

Going down memory lane, this was the very first Infinix phone that came with the iPhone X styled notch, and people literally went crazy over it, because why not? Who doesn’t like an iPhone X?.

So if you couldn’t afford the outrageous amount for the iPhone as of then, then why can’t you just go for the Hot S3X with a notch, and still feel the same way the other iPhone X users were feeling.

It has some impressive specs too, like it was the first Infinix phone from the Hot series, to support 4G LTE, it has a 3/4GB of RAM, with 32/64GB of storage, same 13 + 2MP rear camera lenses of the Hot 7 Pro, and a single 16MP front facing one.

A Snapdragon 430 chip-set to keep it running, ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, and has Infinix signature 4000mAh battery. So you see, this is simply Infinix Hot 7 Pro in disguise, and it cost roughly around 58,000 – 60,000 Naira.

I still can’t tell why this device is still that much expensive after all these months, but, that is what it is. And by the way, you can read up our complete review of it, right here.

9. Best Infinix Phones For 2019 – Infinix Smart 3 Plus

  • 6.2Inches HD+ LCD Display
  • Triple Rear “13 + 2MP + QVGA” cameras | 8MP Front Facing

  • 2/3GB RAM + 32GB Storage
  • Android 9.0 Pie + XOS 5.0 Cheetah

  • 3500mAh Battery

If you liked the design of the Hot S4, stuffs such as its Glass body and new water drop notch, but you don’t currently have 45,000 to 56,000 to shell out for it, then the Smart 3 Plus has got your back.

Though the body itself is not glass, but in this case, plastic in a glossy finish, that disguises itself as glass. A lot of people wouldn’t even know it was plastic all the while, except you told them.

And it also has that signature 6.2 Inches HD+ water drop notch display of the Hot S4, and a triple rear camera system too. But in this case, they have been toned down to a “13 + 2MP + QVGA” sensors, and then at the front you’ve got an 8MP one.

Then internal specs include a Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12nm) Chip-set, 2/3GB of RAM with 32GB of Storage, Android 9.0 Pie + XOS Cheetah out of the box, and a 3500mAh battery.

Personally I’ll say that they’re good specs though, considering the fact that you’re paying just 39,700 Naira for this device.

10. Infinix Hot 7

  • 6.2 Inches HD+ Display
  • 13MP rear facing camera | 8MP Front facing Camera
  • Mediatek MT6580 (28nm) chip-set
  • 1/2GB RAM + 16/32GB of Storage
  • Android 8.1 Oreo
  • 4000mAh Battery

If for anything, you just need any good smart phone for your day to day chores, you know, things like making and receiving phone calls, browsing and chatting, watching movies and all that, but at price such as 30,000 Naira. Then you should probably be thinking of the Infinix Hot 7.

There is nothing much to say here, just that it comes with 6.2 Inches HD+ display, a 1/2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, Android 8.1 Oreo, a single 13MP rear facing camera and an 8MP front facing one, 4000mAh battery, and that’s all. You can read our complete review of it here.

  • 5.5 Inches HD+ Display
  • 13MP Rear Camera + 8MP Front Facing Camera
  • 1GB RAM + 16GB Storage
  • Android 9.0 Pie

Now if you don’t have money, like you don’t have any money at all, or maybe you just have this 25,000 – 27,000 Naira that is just lying somewhere around the house, lazying about, and you’re very sure you’re not going to make use of it again.

But you’re just desperately in need of something to call a smart phone, you know, you just need something to call your own, without minding the specs, camera quality, speed and all that, then the Infinix Smart 3 is definitely the smart phone for you.
